What if you had the perfect tune to express the joy and gratitude you feel when life just seems to shine? In this introductory class, you’ll learn to compose a chant in your own words, with a melody that comes straight from your heart. About the instructor:
For over a decade, musician, writer, composer, and educator Angela Gayan Galik (aka Angie) has been immersed in the study and practice of sacred chanting. The quest for deeper understanding has led Angela to explore a wide range of approaches to ecstatic singing, from gospel choirs to pagan song circles, and from bhakti yoga to Dances of Universal Peace. Angie has facilitated many chant groups, both in person and online (through their ongoing Friday Morning Virtual Chant Circle), and is especially interested in the power of singing to help people connect with their hearts as a source of wisdom, healing, and spiritual nourishment.
